hi Aly-
i would like to get copies of the patterns and would be happy to pay for copying costs and postage as most of my patterns were destroyed in the 2010 Nashville flood and the ones i have been knitting are basically from memory.. I do have the santa faces with the candy canes so i wouldnt need that one. as i was able to get that one from Ruths link

I am searching for the stocking pattern that has the same basic pattern as those pictures by Ruth except the stocking has a standing santa with pack and two Christmas trees above it. Do you happen to have that one? On the white stripes you can personalize date of birth and name.

Dear Aly,

My two brothers and I each had a different Bernat patterned stocking. For reasons passing understanding and probability–perhaps the gremlins who steal socks?–we have ALL three lost our stockings along the way. My aunt has the pattern for the one with the candle, wreath, and trees, shown in the photo above. She has continued to knit new family members stockings from just that pattern, but I would like to bring back the other patterns as well.

One brother had the pattern with the angora Santa, also shown above. So that one is covered. The other brother remembers a snowman holding a broom, and the broom had real bristles. Do either of your snowman patterns look like that?

All of us have this stocking. my mother made them for each of us, our children and each of our husbands. Her pattern is very crumpled and you can barely read it. I love the tradition.
