What? no Tomten? shocking!

Baby hats are absolutely addictive. Fortunately they aren't hard to misplace so having a huge selection sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Between his/her vintage and new knitwear your baby is going to be one warm and elegant infant.

I love the tiny baby surprise jacket. It looks fuzzy on the edges, did you knit with something extra soft or is that just the photo? Lucky baby.
The next thing to knit (if you are sorry that the trousseau is finished) is a blanket - in acrylic or cotton. My mom made one for my first, and then one for each subsequent cousin. Without exception each baby glommed onto those blankets. My 16 and 17 year old still have them in their beds. The other cousins - somewhat better adjusted, perhaps, have put them in drawers but still love them. The blankets were knitted and backed with a soft flannel. Over the years we have replaced the flannel on all of them because those blankets traveled everywhere and the flannel got threadbare. Will share the pattern if you are up to it. Anne

I think that for your climate, it will be good to have a lot of hats and sweaters!

If you feel the need to knit more, some people use wool pants as diaper covers...
