Actually, I wanted to thank you for your tutorial on grafting for the Clementine Shawlette. I have those Lucy DVD’s–but did I ever think of cracking the plastic they are wrapped in. LOL. Instead I Googled and came to your wonderful blog. Thanks to you I will actually be able to wear my Clementine with pride, instead of the nasty humpbacked seam that resulted from my own impulsive and incompetent grafting.

I recently did the Monkey socks too. It’s one of the greatest patterns I’ve ever done. Yay for knitty! As for jumping on band wagons…Dad always told us that to do anything or NOT do something in response to someone else’s opinion was giving that person power over you. Do what you wanted on your terms. I’m glad you did’t pass up a pattern you like just because a lot of others are currently knitting it also. Anyway, I think your sock yarn is the best, even better than mine!
