I would be willing to make these Santa stockings for hire. I made them for my children 40 years ago and am currently making some for my grandchildren. I am retired and enjoy knitting. Thanks to ruthlessknitting for making this pattern available as I had been searching for it.

I’d like to also thank you for posting these patterns as well as the invaluable yarn substitute info! I also come from a family who has a long tradition (starting with my great-grandmother, actually, and moving down to my great-aunt…and hopefully now to me) of making these stockings! I learned to knit and have been knitting for over 40 years i worked in a yarn shop did custom knitting as well as the finish work on customers items i also taught knitting so i have lots of experience and take pride in my work

Two family marriages mean it’s time to starting making Christmas stockings again. Over the years our pattern has been used and used again countless times. How nice to have a fresh copy to work with.
